Beautiful all original German Weatherby Mark V in 300 Weatherby Magnum caliber. From what I can deduce, this Weatherby rifle was a first year production gun manufactured for Weatherby in Germany by J.P. Sauer in 1963.
The stock is the early Weatherby reddish color with not a lot of grain however has some nice color, and is in great condition with only a couple of minor dings.the recoil pad is an original Weatherby pad and in great shape. The barrel is the number one contour thin barrel and 24 inches long. The bluing as you can see from the pictures is still in almost perfect condition. I have a German Weatherby 2x7 scope with Bueller rings attached to the gun, I will sell the gun without the scope if the buyer prefers. The price listed is without the scope.
I am the second owner of this fine rifle and have had it for many years. It has been stored in my safe and wiped down on a regular basis.
It is time to pass this fine collectible rifle down to the next generation.
