The Weatherby Mark V is one of the most famous bolt-action rifles in the world, introduced in 1958 by Roy Weatherby. It was designed to safely handle the high pressures of Weatherby’s powerful magnum cartridges and to be one of the strongest, smoothest bolt actions available
The Mark V is known as the “world’s strongest bolt action."

It has a 9-lug bolt (in magnum calibers) that provides a very short 54° bolt lift for fast cycling.

Standard calibers use a 6-lug bolt with the same short lift.

Safety: Three rings of steel (bolt sleeve, bolt head, and barrel) surround the cartridge head for strength.

Accuracy: Factory-guaranteed sub-MOA (modern rifles).

Design: Sleek, high-gloss stocks were common on older models; newer ones come in synthetic, camo, and carbon-fiber versions.
