Description: Welcome to the top of the food chain, the Mark V® APEX is where long-range accuracy meets lightweight hunting. The APEX is built on the iconic Weatherby® Mark V® steel action and comes with a fluted two-toned cerakoted barrel. Equipped with Peak 44™’s new Bastion stock, among the lightest production vertical grip carbon fiber stocks on the market, weighing in at just 23 ounces. It features a comfortable ambidextrous palm swell and a substantial thumb groove to promote proper form while shooting. The forend features dual sling studs to allow the shooter multiple options when deciding on accessories. This upgraded stock allows shooters to comfortably and accurately shoot from all positions not only at the range but in the harshest of conditions while in the field. Also grabbing the eye is the second generation 3DHEX® recoil pad, the first production 3D printed pad the firearms world has seen. This means less felt recoil resulting in better accuracy downrange.
