For sale is a Weatherby Mark V CarbonMark Pro bolt-action rifle, chambered in the blazing-fast 6.5-300 Weatherby Magnum. This custom-built, stunningly precise rifle is in excellent used condition and represents the pinnacle of Weatherby's carbon-fiber magnum lineup – lightweight, accurate, and ready for any adventure. No original packaging is included. This rifle has no muzzle brake installed – a thread protector is installed on the threaded barrel. No scope rings are included.
The Mark V CarbonMark Pro features a 26-inch 416R stainless steel match barrel roll-wrapped with a carbon fiber sleeve loaded under tension to create strength and reduce overall weight. 95% of the carbon fiber does not touch the barrel, allowing air to flow around the steel and rapidly cool the barrel – adding rigidity and reducing overall weight. This creates an incredibly strong barrel that dissipates heat very well and provides consistent accuracy with high shot counts. The barrel is threaded 5/8x24 with a thread protector installed (muzzle brake not included). The rifle features a Charcoal finish carbon fiber stock with a #4 barrel contour, a 13.625-inch length of pull, and weighs just 7.5 lbs. The overall length is 46.25 inches.
