Weatherby Mark V in ultra rare 280 Rem 24” barrel with Burris Signature HD 3-15 x 44MM scope. This rifle is from my personal collection, and it shoots extremely accurate using 145 Grain Speer Soft Point Boat Tail Bullets, grouping less than 3/4 inch MOA at 100 Yards with very little felt recoil. Additionally, you get the durability of the 6 lug Mark V action in 284 non-magnum rounds. I have owned and hunted successfully with this rifle on deer hunts for the past 10 years. The composite stock shows some wear in areas, along with some coating wear on the trigger guard from good honest use, but the functionality of this rifle is top shelf. I’m selling this out of my collection because I am now using a 280 Ackley Improved. I’m not certain of the year of production but you can look it up S/N: WB025105. I originally had a lower power Leupold scope on it, then switched to this Burris about five years ago due to my not-so-great eyes. The scope alone retails for over $600. As I’ve stated in my other item descriptions I’m clearing out some of my items to make way for my differing taste in firearms, so I’m aggressively pricing this harder to find caliber in a Weatherby Mark V.
