Weatherby Mark V Varmintmaster .22-250 26" New in Box
Description: Weatherby Mark V Varmintmaster Model in .22-250 made in 1978 in Japan. It remains in 100% new condition in the original box, with the factory test target. It does not appear the bolt was ever inserted into the action after leaving the factory, and both the bolt knob and triggerguard bow remain factory dipped in a rubber coating. The bronze filler screws on the receiver are present. Please study the detailed photos for a better idea of the condition, but this appears to be a true New in Box Weatherby in the same condition as it was shipped almost 43 years ago. Its features include a highly figured claro walnut stock with excellent fiddleback figure, and the less common 26" barrel length. This is an investment grade Weatherby.
