Description:
The Weatherby Company set out to make the finest .22 Rimfire Rifle on the market. Their choice of materials, and design was excellent, and, being "best" is opinion, it is a darn fine firearm. They were made in 4 phases, this one being a 1971 sample from the KTG factory in Japan. As with all of them, it features a high grade walnut Monte Carlo stock with Rosewood accents, and Big Game rifle iron sights. It has a tang safety, and the lever on the action is a selector to allow autoloader or single shot mode. When it is in single shot mode, cartridges can be loaded through the gate one at a time, converting the rifle to a target rifle. These rifles are known for their accuracy. .22 Long Rifle
