Older four digit 1952-1953 made before Roy invented the Mark 5 Action. The wood is in very good shape with scratches on the right side of the fore end tip and left rear side of the stock, all pictured. I would rate the stock at 95% condition with a 13 1/2 LOP. The metal is in excellent shape except for the floor plate and minor rubbing at the end of the barrel from taking it in and out of a case over the past 60 years. The barrel length is the more desirable 26 incher.Over all except for the floor plate in 98% rust free condition. The bore is as new checked with a Hawkeye Bore Scope. It comes with probably the original Weatherby 2 3/4x10 scope. The scope is clear with fine cross hairs. The scope tube looks like the scope slid forward at some time in its life and marked up the scope tube. The worst that I can say about this rifle is that the scope ring screw heads are messed up. Over all this is an original untouched collectible, shootable rifle that was carried a some shot very little, but the bore cleaned well cared for after shooting. Three day no shoot no messing with inspection period. If returned purchaser pays all shipping plus a 10% fee as I have described this rifle and scope in great detail with pictures. Shipping insured for $95.00 in a hard case.
