The Alpine MDT Carbon series combines Weatherby‚s latest Model 307 bolt action platform with MDT‚s ultra-light HNT26 series carbon fiber chassis and a carbon fiber barrel provided by BSF Barrels. The HNT26 chassis system features a foldable buttstock to reduce the overall length of the rifle for stowage and transportation. The carbon fiber barrels made by BSF Barrels feature a unique sleeving process where 95% of the carbon fiber does not touch the barrel resulting in air gaps between the inner barrel and outer sleeve that allow for faster cooling.
This model is chambered in 7mm PRC and features an all-black finish.
