Description:
An original rifle unrestored and made for Viscount Oakham , later The Earl of Lovelace , and bought by me from the family . Oakham owned the Fig Tree Club by Lake Babati in Tanganika and was a close friend of Baron von Blixen Fineke . The Babati club was probably Hemingway's inspiration for " the little hotel overlooking the lake" in Green Hills of Africa .
The rifle has never been restored and has a clean bore with good rifling .
The price quoted includes shipping to USA from Britain if required .
