Double rifle chambered for the .450/.400 3" NE cartridge. The 26" saddle lump blacked rifled W.R.&Co. special streel barrels with Birmingham nitro proofs are fitted with extractors, machined matte quarter rib, club head rib extension third fastener, express "platina" lined rear sight - 1 standing regulated at 100 Yds and & 4 Folding leaves regulated for 200, 300, 400 & 500 Yds, ramped white tipped blade front sight and eye for sling. Top of the right barrel is roll marked "WESTLEY RICHARDS & CO.." while the top of the left barrel is roll marked "LONDON" and "450/400/60/400 3 INCH" The case color hardened finished Anson & Deeley boxlock action is adorned with game scenes on both sides of the action body featuring a tiger in different poses and supported by light coverage scrolls. "WESTLEY RICHARDS & CO" above the game scenes. Light scrolls are on the blacked bottom cover plate. The boxlock action is fitted with a club head rib extension third fastener, disc-set strikers, double triggers protected by a blacked and engraved trigger guard extending to a long bottom strap with the gun's serial number and automatic safety. The blacked, engraved top lever with left side of thumb piece is checkered. The engraved top strap has gold-inlaid "SAFE" ahead of the checkered and engraved beetle-back slide safety. Nicely figured reddish-brown walnut stock with pistol hand grip fitted with a horn grip cap, point pattern checkering with borders, vacant golden stock oval and eye for sling. Similarly checkered splinter fore-end with an engraved Deeley lever release and antique ivory tip. 13-7/8" LOP over a 1" Silver's style (Resting Gunworks) rubber recoil pad.
