Chambered in .375 H&H Magnum, this rare and desirable Westley Richards & Co. Best Quality Bolt Action Magazine model is the ultimate classic African Safari rifle. Every element of this rifle is spectacular. The stock is AAA fancy European walnut, oil finished with hand-checkering at the wrist and forend, fully engraved recoil bar ends, ebony nose-cap, engraved and color case-hardened steel pistol grip cap, full comb and solid rubber recoil pad. Receiver is fully engraved, fully jeweled bolt. Trigger guard is heavily engraved with spectacular gold-inlayed Cape Buffalo head, additional engraving at the chamber and muzzle-area, including the front and rear sights, which are classic 3-fold express sights. Factory mounted QD release mounts and the gun has a Swarovski Optik Habicht 4x32 scope in perfect working condition. Gun is in very good+ condition having been used by a prominent big game hunter from the United Kingdom. Stock has some minor nicks and the buttpad shows wear and cracking as shown. This is the rifle of Hemingway, Ruark and Capstick lore.
