VERY RARE FACTORY ENGRAVED WHITNEY STYLE ROLLING BLOCK RIFLE

Description:
This gun features "bank note" style engraving with 4 panel scenes. Engraving is excellent. 26 inch octagon barrel in caliber 32 RF. Pistol grip checkered deluxe burl walnut stock. Horn forend cap. Rifle style buttplate. Beech's combination front sight and a reverse flattop sporting rear sight like you would see on an early 1873 Winchester. Marked on top of the barrel is "32 R & C". Just ahead of that it says "E.E.Ing" with a picture. Receiver is case hardened with traces of color and the balance turning a nickel color.This is a lovely gun that I have had for a good 40 years. This is the only one I have seen like it.
