Henry Rifle 1st type and Early Brass Frame
Description: ON HOLD...Serial #1975 and in NRA good condition. Works fine and metal is a smooth dark brown patina. Missing rear sight and the cut for the sight is plugged on the brass frame and barrel. It was later cut through the markings on the barrel. The sling swivel and screws on barrel is replaced. The Henry is all matching except one maybe on the tang if numbered at all. Cannot remove loading gate as a brass screw? is in place. The long spring is a replacement also. The cut in the barrel and markings can be fixed but I'd leave it alone. Photos should tell the story and bore has rifling and has pitting. Stock has dings with scratches with surface wood missing, It's on the bottom of the buttstock and about 1/8" deep. SEE LAST PHOTO. Still nice for an early henry rifle. brass has dings mostly minor in spots. UPDATE: I have the swivel on the buttstock look and is free to move.. I have also aged the sling ring and screws on backside. Antique: Yes Price: $22,500.00 Contact Seller |
