Offered here for sale and just acquired is a very nice vintage Winchester .22 sporting rifle. The Winchester Model 67 is a classic single-shot, bolt-action .22-caliber rifle made by the Winchester Repeating Arms Company that’s well known for being simple, reliable, and inexpensive in its day — a popular choice as a beginner’s rifle, a small-game gun, or a backyard plinker.
Introduced in May 1934 as Winchester’s entry-level bolt-action .22 rifle its production span was 1934 until 1963.  Manufacture was suspended during World War II (roughly 1942–1945) as Winchester shifted to military contracts.
Because Winchester did not serial-number these rifles for the U.S. market (serials weren’t required until the Gun Control Act of 1968), exact dating of individual guns is done by feature differences rather than serial records. We would estimate however that the former owner acquired this rifle in the 1960s.
?? Design & Features

• Action: Bolt-action, single-shot rimfire.
• Caliber: Originally chambered for .22 Short, .22 Long, and .22 Long Rifle interchangeably.
• Barrel: Standard models had a ~27″ barrel.
• Stock: Plain walnut with pistol grip; early rifles had finger grooves that were later removed.
• Takedown design: The barreled action can be removed from the stock by loosening a screw under the barrel, making it easy to transport.

Over its long production life, the Model 67 saw small refinements such as changes to the bolt and sear, the addition of .22 WRF chambering on some, and the availability of better sights. This specimen retains just about all finish on barrel (just some wear near muzzle). Bore is fine, light use marks on stock, factory buttplate intact and just some soiling which we will clean before shipping.
