Serial number  60840. 100%original ,complete and  correct except the 2 butt plate screws.... mechanically excellent. All  features function as they should. Excellent bore, mirror bright with excellent rifling,  without any pitting or frosting.  Excellent original metal finishes. The Walnut stock is original without any modifications. Few handling marks if any, no cracks gouges or dents.  Some finish loss from handling . Original  sling swivels. Scope mounts for your favorite scope.  A rare Winchester,  M 70, early, pre 64, "30 gov't 06" for your collection and sporting pleasure. One of Americas best firearms ever made.
