This is a fantastic opportunity to own a piece of classic American firearms history. Up for sale is a vintage Winchester Model 74, a reliable and well-regarded semi-automatic rifle produced by the legendary Winchester Repeating Arms Company.
Year of Manufacture: Based on the serial number (171512A), this rifle was manufactured in 1947.
Condition: This rifle is in relatively good condition for its age. As can be seen in the high-definition photos, there are honest blemishes to the wood and metal from a lifetime of use. The bluing is better than normal when compared  with other firearms of this vintage. The wood stock shows some minor dings and scratches, but remains solid.  There is a small crack where the trigger pin exits the stock. The action is smooth and functions as it should. The bore is in good condition with visible rifling. This rifle is a perfect candidate for a collector or a shooter who appreciates classic, well-built firearms.
