Winchester 1894 38-55 Engraved Mfg.1898
Description: SALE PENDING Winchester 1894 Round Barrel in sought after 38-55 caliber. This rifle is the work of Master Engraver Richard Roy originally from Quebec Canada who moved to the North East and had been a master engraver since 1967. Examples of his can be found in the NRA Museum in Fairfax,VA as well as the Fredrick Remington Arts Museum in Ogdensburg, NY and in several large well known private collections throughout the world. The rifle is retains most all its blue n varnish since its embellishment with some older touch up about the last 6in. of the barrel and magazine tube where you can see some older freckling covered up. Note see photo #5 and 10 in the gallery. This is a rare piece of art that any Art collector or Winchester collector would love to add to their collection.
