Description:
"I'll consider reasonable offers on a single or a multiple gun purchase." Please look at my other listings. The guns I'm listing haven't been on the market for many years.
All original Winchester 1894 Deluxe Takedown Special Order .32 W.S. with 26", 1/2 Octagon barrel. Special shorter magazine. Pistol grip with checkered stocks. Factory Lyman receiver sight typical of early 1900 Winchester's. That's six special order items on this rifle. Serial number 522860, mfg. 1910. Takedown works as designed and is tight with zero movement. The receiver has approximately 50-60% thinning blue with light freckling in small areas. The takedown joint in front of receiver has turned mostly silver with small spots of blue. The barrel has approximately 85-90% blue with a few light nicks and rubs. The "unsanded" stocks fit perfectly with no cracks, splits or missing wood. The high points of the checkering are smooth but 100% intact and attractive (see pictures). Stocks are a little darker than what the pictures show. All mechanics work as designed. This is an attractive all original special order Winchester.
From the George Madis Winchester Book; Approximately one million 1894's were produced betwwen 1894 and 1942.
Out of that one million, only a few rifles had special features. This rifle has six special features.
