Winchester 1895 30 Army Deluxe wood ++ Special Order w/Cody

Description:
Another oustanding piece form the Long collectioin. This 1895 was ordered with a very rare set of options-Deluxe wood (that is spectacuular), Cheek Piece, highly desirable .30 Army (30/40 Kraigf), 28" barrel, Lyman rceiver Sight, Beeches Front and a Sprit level mid. Incredible all original condition, excellent bluing and checkering, wood is XXX Fancy. This was documented in a 2012 letter from collectors Jim Wade & John Jarreett as the only example in this configuration they had ever seen. The bore is "excellent bright & crisp". Action is very tight, clear that it has seen little actual use. This adorned the wall cabinet of its owners office for 3 decades as the top of a rare collection. The appraisal done in 2012 put its value at $14K and that is the starting price here. Call me and lets discuss how we could add it to your collection
