Winchester Model 70 pre 64 243 Varmit

Description:
Winchester Mdl 70 pre 64 in 243 Win.  This is the varmit model with 26" stainless steel (heavey) barrel.  Gun is in exceptional condition with a few small stratches on the left butt stock (see pictures).  Wood is 94+ percent, barrel and receiver metal in 95+ percent. Serial # are matching and gun has original winchester butt plate.  Supplied with the 3 scope ring bases which allow for mounting of long scopes correct for period. These guns were not supplie with iron sights and thus were tapped for scope mounts at the factory.  I am a private seller so prefer sending to an FFL that accepts shipments from a private seller.  Accept personal checks (3 day wait for bank clearance), money orders or cashiers check.
