Bear Arms Promotions is extremely honored to offer up this exceptionally rare Winchester Pre-64 Model 70 Carbine in 9mm or 9x57 Mauser caliber. David Whitaker of The Model 70 Winchester book has reported these calibers but has not confirmed, This is most likely a special order from Winchester or a test caliber. This 20" Carbine Model 70 appears all original and is equipped with a Lyman rear peep sight. Original hood front sight. The rifle shows minimal handling marks on the checkered stock and forearm. The bolt shows matching serial number and barrel has the correct 9mm markings as shown in pictures. Very fine and excellent bore and rifling. Box of Winchester shells included. Serial number is 50504. THIS RIFLE WILL SHIP IN A HARD CASE FOR EXTRA PROTECTION.
