Here's a magnificent example of Winchester's finest. This 21 takes a back seat to no
other gun ! 12 ga., 32" full and improved modified barrels. Vent rib , single trigger,
The previous owner says it came from the factory with shorter barrels and was returned to factory for
the new 32" barrels and new stock that wasn't MonteCarlo. This happened around early fifties. I measure pull at 14.5
Serial# is 8921, Engraving is not signed so, the gun was sent to Pauline Muerrle for verification of engraver.
She confirmed that George Ulrich did the engraving. She had several other comments , said this is a very
unique example of George's work. I have included a couple of pictures of interest. One of George engraving a model 21 ,on page 344 of Wilson's ,Winchester Engraving book. The second is this gun in front of George's picture.
He is engraving this very gun. How neat is that?
