Consecutive Serial Numbered Winchester Roosevelt Commemorative 1894s
Description: This is a lot of 2 consecutively serial numbered Winchester Model 1894 Theodore Roosevelt lever actions chambered in 30 WCF. There is a rifle and carbine; serial numbered TR43250 and TR43251. This offering includes both the rifle and carbine, their original hangtags, original boxes and the original shipping sleeve that held both firearms. SN TR43250. This rifle has a 26” octagon barrel with an excellent, bright strong bore. The blued metal surfaces retain about 99% original blue while the circled "P" surfaces rate very good showing a minor spot of oxidation on right side of receiver near rear of forend, some oxidation light specs on right side of receiver and some scattered light scuffs. The walnut stock and forend rate excellent with no discernible handling marks or dings. The stock has an inset medallion with the likeness of Teddy Roosevelt and the left side of the receiver is marked "26th President/(Eagle)/1901-1909". SN TR43251. This carbine has a 20" octagon barrel with an excellent, bright strong bore. The metal surfaces retain about 99% original blue with a spot of minor silvering on magazine tube. The silver surfaces have some light scuffing. The walnut stock and forend show no discernible handling marks or dings. The stock has an inset medallion with the likeness of Teddy Roosevelt and the left side of the receiver is marked "26th President/Eagle/1901-1909".
