1969 Golden Spike Commemorative Set – Winchester Model 94 & Colt Frontier Scout

This beautiful matched pair was produced in 1969 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the driving of the Golden Spike at Promontory Summit, Utah — the completion of the first transcontinental railroad.
The Winchester Model 94 Golden Spike is chambered in .30-30 with a 20-inch barrel, gold-plated receiver and barrel bands, engraved receiver, and features a commemorative medallion in the walnut stock. It’s marked “Golden Spike Commemorative” with the dates 1869–1969.
The Colt Golden Spike Frontier Scout is a .22 LR single-action revolver with gold-filled markings, special “1869-Golden Spike-1969” barrel engraving, and comes with its original display case and commemorative railroad spike.
Also included is the rare limited edition “East Meets West” commemorative print officially released by Winchester to accompany this set.
All pieces are in excellent condition. Perfect for the railroad history buff or commemorative collector.
