THIS EDITION FEATURES A MARBLES TANG SIGHT!
I am proud to bring this exquisite Winchester lever-action to Guns International!  This beautiful Winchester 1873 features the same hand-chased engraving as one of the most expensive Winchesters ever sold at  .  Featuring a 24” .44-40 octagonal barrel and a beautiful, blued receiver with 24 kt gold-inlaid moose and elk and blue forend tip.  The hammer and lever feature amazing case colors.  The factory equipped with wood is PRESENTATION GRADE, and this rare option is notated on the original label.

This ultra-rare SERIAL NUMBER 278 Winchester from the CDNN Collection was made for a famous museum, but that deal fell through.  The “One of One Thousand” moniker came from one of the most historically significant Winchesters ever made.  Winchester discovered that “One of One Thousand” guns shot better than the rest.  For this series of 20, the model was extensively inspected, and only the finest 20 rifles were embellished with this handsome engraving.
