Here's one that any collector would be proud to display or safely keep in it's box to add to your collection.  Hard to find only 550 of these made in 2001.  This one is pristine with no defects that I could visibly see.  Very limited handling of these commemoratives just enough to photograph and then place safely back into the box.  Please research and look at the pictures of this beauty and determine if it would be an awesome addition to your collection.  This one has $85 Shipping fee and 3% Credit Card Fee.  Buy now pays no fees.  As you can see there are very few of these out there so I wouldn't delay on this one, but I will consider reasonable offers.
Winchester “Deluxe Model” 1886 Takedown Commemorative Rifle With Box. This Winchester Takedown Model 1886 Commemorative is 1 of 550 manufactured for the 2001 Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation banquet. It sports a 26” blued octagon barrel with a full-length magazine tube. The barrel has a bead front sight and an elevator adjustable rear sight. The left side of the blued receiver has been laser-engraved showing a floral pattern design with a Bull Elk in the center of an oval with the engraved words - ”ROCKY MOUNTAIN ELK FOUNDATION” at the top of the oval. The bottom of the oval says: EDITION OF 500”. The right side of the receiver has a similar engraving pattern with a small boxed area that reads: “R.M.E.F. 2001 BANQUET EDITION”. The upper part of the receiver shows two Bull Elk walking in a field. There is an upper tang- mounted-safety. The trigger guard portion of the blued lever has a floral pattern on each side. The hammer and both sides of the bolt have been Machine Turned (Jeweled). The serial number is roll-marked on the bottom of the receiver. The Walnut stocks on this Deluxe Model Winchester have a blued forearm cap and crescent butt-plate. The buttstock is pistol-gripped with a black grip cap. The buttstock exhibits hand checkering and the forearm is checkered on all three sides.   Caliber/ Gauge: 45-70 Govt.; Low SN 01133MM343.
