The 1994 Winchester Model 94 Limited Edition Centennial is one of twelve thousand Grade I rifles made to mark the rifle’s one hundredth anniversary. It’s chambered in .30-30 Winchester, or .30 W.C.F. as marked on the barrel. It has a twenty-six-inch half-round, half-octagon barrel, No. 9 style rolled engraving with whitetail deer scenes on both sides of the receiver, H-style cut checkering on the pistol-grip walnut stock and forearm, a half-magazine tube, crescent steel buttplate, and a replica Lyman Number Two tang sight. Serial numbers run from CN00001 to CN12000. Produced by U.S. Repeating Arms in New Haven, it captures the classic Model 94 look with modern touches like the crossbolt safety, making a complete example with the original box and papers a nice find for collectors of the centennial series.
