Winchester Model 94
SRC Golden Spike Commemorative Rifle Unfired Without Box .30-30 Winchester
Description:
This Winchester Model 94 SRC (Saddle Ring Carbine) Golden Spike Commemorative Rifle, priced to sell, was released in 1969 as a limited edition to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the first transcontinental railroad, the "Golden Spike" event. The report from the owner's widow, the rifle's condition, bore scope inspection, and the bolt head retaining all of its bluing with no primer ring present, we feel confident that this rifle has never been fired since leaving the factory. Every aspect of this rifle is in excellent condition. Please note that this rifle does not have its original box or paperwork.
The rifle features a gold-plated receiver, barrel bands, and butt plate, along with other gold-toned and blued finishes and commemorative engravings. It has engravings and decorative scroll borders on the receiver and barrel, with the date 1869-1969 and a spike marking. The straight-grip stock is made of satin-finished American walnut, and has a gold commemorative coin.
Please see pictures for details.
