This is a replica Model 1866 (Yellow Boy) Winchester Saddle Ring Carbine made by Uberti in 1978. The bore in the 16 inch barrel is very good. This is a short compact gun that will fit in cowboy competitions and in the felid or target range. This model was an improvement on the Henry rifles used in the civil war. The .44-40 was much more powerful and being center fire was more reliable.
