1886 Winchester Rifle Untouched
Description: 1886 Winchester in untouched condition. Manufactured in 1895. 38-56 caliber with 26" octagon barrel and full magazine tube. Great markings. Special ordered front Beaches Sight and standard rear sight. I will rate the bore a 7 on a scale from 1 to 10. Barrel and magazine tube retain 65 to 70% original blue with some gray / brown patina mixing in. Receiver is a nice gray patina with some hints of case colors. Hammer and lever show some traces of case colors. Action functions nicely. Both forend and buttstock are in very good condition. Wood is still proud (higher than the metal). Correct crescent style buttplate. All in all a nice 1886 Winchester Rifle that is antique and can be shipped directly to your doorsteps. Please feel free to ask questions.
