Born in 1883, this Winchester Model 1873 rifle in .38-40 has been fully restored with deep blue finish and new Walnut stocks. The round 24" barrel and receiver have probably 99% reblue remaining. The new shotgun buttstock and forearm are sharply checkered. Minimal handling/storage marks. Steel buttplate. Action is smooth and clean. Bore is bright with good rifling and small areas of pitting. Photos exagerate this with magnification. Really well done. Not collectable, but ready to shine again in woods or in CAS competition. Antique ships directly to your door. $1650 + shipping.
