Have decided to put this old Winchester Musket up for sale. It's the model 1873, only made in the 44/40 caliber, sports the standard 30" round barrel with ladder sight.serial number 368337B, dates Mfg to about 1891 making her an antique, has sling swivels and three barrel bands .I believe out of around 800k model 73's made only 5k were in the musket configuration. Maybe for some home guard outfit some where. There's a bayonet with it and sheath. It's 21" to 24" in length depending where you hold the tape. Wicked looking set up pointed in your direction. Bore looks good, nice rifling and some shine. The rest of the rifle looks like it very well could be 129 years old. No major damage of any sort , a nice brownish patina and original unfinished looking wood. I took as many pictures as I could in the sun light so as not to hide anything. If your in to those re-enactments this here musket would fit right in. For the shooting part to, as I've loaded and shot her more than once. Cowboy Ammo of course. The deal is my asking price and $45.00 shipping and insurance. Look her over for three days and if your not satisfied , send her back at your expense and I'd refund your money.
