Here is a very nice SRC made in 1894 if I read correctly. And in a favorite caliber, .44-40. Sharp bright bore with good rifling. I would call it a 7-8 at least. Some original blue but mostly smooth mottled patina. Action works as it should. Wood is in fine shape with no cracks or major dings but may have had some finish added to protect it; this is very dry country out here. Sights are original. Screwheads and lettering in good shape. Altogether a solid old SRC from a South Dakota ranch. Shipping and insurance via priority mail included in the price. Ships to your door in most states. NO TEXTS
