Description: **** sale pending Jerry in Idaho ***** Winchester Model 1894 rifle in caliber 38-55. Standard configuration of 26" octagon barrel, full magazine, crescent butt with steel butt plate, plain walnut stocks, plain trigger, German silver blade front sight and Sporting rear sight with correct elevator, blued and case hardened finish. Serial number 95631 indicates 1896 production by the published Madis serial numbers. CONDITION: There is no bluing or case colors remaining. Stocks are sound with no splits or cracks and normal expected wear. Action functions crisply and retains the half cock safety. Bore is a 7.5 of 10, good rifling with some wear and a little gray, may clean better, no pitting or rings, should shoot just fine - have a competent gunsmith check it over first as it has not been test-fired. Mag tube is tight with no wobble. A used but not abused Winchester in a desirable caliber and configuration that still has plenty of life left. TERMS: Antique so no FFL required and can ship to an address of your choice except in New York State, where this must ship to an FFL (no C&R).
