The gun letters with BBHC( Cody Museum) and the letter state, Smokeless, 1/2 magazine, Take Down with plain trigger in 45/70 Govt. Caliber. The metal is good, the bore is good and the wood is good with normal handling marks. I have not seen many 1886 rifles in take down with half magazines in this caliber.
