Winchester Model 1892 TD Rifle, .25-20

Description:
This Model 92 Winchester Rifle, Ser. No. 457621, was manufactured in 1907.  It is a take-down model in .25-20 caliber with a 24" octagonal barrel.  The blued finish has largely aged to a smooth gray/brown patina.  The original stock and fore end are deluxe walnut with original high gloss finish.  There is some wearing of the finish and usual handling marks for its age.  There is a slight chip where the stock meets the butt plate, probably caused by the gun being dropped at some time in the past.  The bore is good with prominent rifling that could likely be improved with a good cleaning.  The action is smooth and crisp as expected with a 92.  See pictures for best description.
