Closet or safe queen clearly this nearly perfect example has not seen time in the wood. There is not a scratch or flaw worthy of mention (see pics for any you feel are significant) As a 1966 gun it has the Red W Win PG Cap. Other than the really unique near new conditon of this gun; the deep rich very high luster polish of the blue /metal typical of Winehester's workmanship is 2d to none. This still has the correc tront and rear sites and is unaltered in any way.
We often tell folks in the North East were we are located there is no finer deer weopon than a guod semi auto in a modern cal where a fast follow up shot or two or three to prevent the loss of a wounded animal is vital. With a semi unlike a bolt or lever you never have to remove your eye from the site picture for follow up shot or shots. Even given great care while hunting a bullet may hit a twig that you did not see and cause deflection requing follow up shots
It is known that until a certain point in time there was a recall on some years of m 100's. This is a simple fix that anyone farily handy should be able to do themselves or it may be sent in for a no cost replacement of the firing pin. We can provid that contact info to the buyer. It is possible that by 66 this had been fixed at the factory but we do not remember when they incorported the change.
To the best of our knowledge not only is the best or one fo the best available on the market but also likely the least expensive for its condition.

Closet or safe queen clearly this nearly perfect example has not seen time in the wood. There is not a scratch or flaw worthy of mention (see pics for any you feel are significant) As a 1966 gun it has the Red W Win PG Cap. Other than the really unique near new conditon of this gun; the deep rich very high luster polish of the blue /metal typical of Winehester's workmanship is 2d to none. This still has the correc tront and rear sites and is unaltered in any way.
We often tell folks in the North East were we are located there is no finer deer weopon than a guod semi auto in a modern cal where a fast follow up shot or two or three to prevent the loss of a wounded animal is vital. With a semi unlike a bolt or lever you never have to remove your eye from the site picture for follow up shot or shots. Even given great care while hunting a bullet may hit a twig that you did not see and cause deflection requing follow up shots
It is known that until a certain point in time there was a recall on some years of m 100's. This is a simple fix that anyone farily handy should be able to do themselves or it may be sent in for a no cost replacement of the firing pin. We can provid that contact info to the buyer. It is possible that by 66 this had been fixed at the factory but we do not remember when they incorported the change.
