Serial number is in the 14k range. The last style loading gate is present on this gun. Butt stock is in fine condition which is unusual for these early guns. The forearm has slight loss ahead of the barrel band but still in good condition. Barrel is plum/brown color mag tube is brown/gray. There are no signs of a barrel address as usual. Rear sight is a replacement. Receiver is generally very good with mostly original screws. Fairly sharp corners. Correct saddle ring. Nice action. Not a bad flat side 66 carbine.
