Winchester Model 1866 Saddle Ring Carbine 44 Henry Rim Fire
Description: Winchester Model 1866 SN-124256 Manufactured about 1874. Round 20” barrel with sharp readable barrel markings. Most of the factory blue has turn to brown on the barrel and magazine. Brass frame has been cleaned long ago. Bore has strong rifling with light pitting. Great wood to metal fit with a lot of the wood finish remaining, although it has plenty of handling marks as you would expect for a gun that has been around as long as this one has. Has a factory Winchester carbine leaf pivot rear sight. Nice collectable early 3rd model 1866 SRC. More photos available on request. Shipping and insurance cost will be added to purchase price.
