Description:
Chile Marked 1st Model 1873 Winchester Saddle Ring Carbine manufactured in 1875. Serial number 7823 44-40 20" round barrel and full magazine tube has a decent bore that I would rate a 6.5 to 7 on a scale from 1 to 10. Correct front and rear sights. Original thumbprint dust cover is still present. Chile proof mark crossed out on the front part of left side of receiver (see pics). Overall condition is a gray / brown patina that you would expect to see from a gun from South America. Both forend and buttstock are in fair condition: forend has a crack in the front and left wrist area of stock has a nicely done repair in the wood. All in all a rarely found for sale an early 1st Model 73 SRC. Please feel free to ask questions. Layaway available and I will consider trades.
