Special order 1873 Winchester in 32 WCF, with factory 30" barrel and factory single set trigger
Description: This is an interesting and nice old rifle. It has new wood with some figure as you can see in the pictures. The bore is gray but "good" and might clean up too. The barrel was counter-bored about 2" at the muzzle as was the practice before and during WW2 when the muzzle wear became so great that it detracted from accuracy. (It was an easy fix to extend the life and accuracy of a barrel.) It was very well done and you have to look closely to figure it out. The factory made 30" round barrel has its original sights, and its markings are clear too. The finish has faded but the gun looks great. It has its dust cover and you can still read the caliber markings on the brass cartridge elevator. It must have been a special order rifle as in all my years I havent seen another one like it. Must ship to an FFL. Credit cards add the 3% fee. You will pay the actual shipping and insurance to your FFL, we do NOT ship with the post office. We use FedEx. If you have any questions, please let me know. Strength and Honor! SOLD |
