SPECIAL ORDER WINCHESTER MODEL 1873 RIFLE IN 32 WCF

Description:
24 inch octagon barrel chambered in 32 WCF caliber with a bright shiny bore with good rifling. Sights include a Beech's combination front and sporting rear with a period correct folding tang. Barrel has about 40% thinning blue with some edge wear.Special order Half length button magazine. Case colored receiver has some nice colors on the sides in the protected areas with the balance fading to gray. Strong case colors on the hammer with traces on the lever. Strong nitre blue on the loading gate. Crisp functioning action. Walnut stock set has been lightly sanded and refinished and shows some handling mars. Rifle style buttplate. This 3rd Model Winchester rifle was made in 1882.
