Special order 28 inch full octagon barrel with full length mag tube chambered in 38 WCF caliber. Barrel has sharp markings. Original sights include a German silver blade front and a sporting rear. Bore has good rifling but would benefit greatly from a good cleaning.Barrel and mag tube are a plum/brown patina. Receiver is also plum/brown with traces of original blue in the protected areas. Crescent style buttplate. Wood is in good condition. Looks good and fits good. Honest looking 3rd Model Winchester from 1889. Extra length barrels are desirable and getting harder to find.
