Winchester Model 1873, Third Model, Half Octagon/Half Round Barrel, Cal. .32-20, 1902 Vintage SOLD SOLD SOLD

Description:

Winchester Model 1873 Rifle fitted with a 24 inch half-octagon/half round barrel, full length tube magazine, standard rifle open sights, walnut forearm, walnut stock fitted with a steel crescent butt-plate, is blue finished, and chambered in .32-20 (.32 WCF).  This 1902 vintage Model 1873 is in good condition, retaining 5% original blue, with original blue mostly on the bottom of the barrel and on top of the magazine tube, the rest having turned a silver/brown patina.  The stock and forearm fit well and may have been lightly sanded and refinished in its past.  The bore is bright, is shootable, with visible rifling, but has minor corrosion throughout.  The action appears to function perfectly, the lever locks into the closed position, and the dust cover holds in place, closed and open.  A very desirable variation of the legendary Model 1873 Winchester.                   CURIO & RELIC.                                                            PRICE:    SOLD           We are Antique & Modern Firearms in Lexington, KY, dealer of fine firearms since 1974.                    PH. 859-276-1419         We Buy, Sell and Trade Firearms & Knives.    Have a Individual Firearm,  Firearms Collection, or Firearms Estate to sell, let us know, we can buy or consignment sell it for you.                   NOTE:  No additional fee for a Credit Card payment.
