Exceptional original Winchester 1876 40-60
Description:
It would be near impossible to improve on this Winchester 3rd model 1876, 28" octagon barrel, Full magazine, Crescent butt with trapdoor. and retain a tremendous amount of the original blue. Right side plate shows finish loss with the balance of the gun retaining 80-85% minimum of the deep original blue this is one that really does look better in person. Original dust cover, excellent bore (ammo is available) original sights. the barrel shows some fade but is over all extremely strong in original finish. date to about 1884.
