What a wonderful gun. Not a five figure 99% but a clean well cared for rifle, the entire rifle a pleasing blue with patina oh so smooth and no bad spots. The kind of rifle you would be proud of but can still take it to the range and it wont break the bank. It is a standard 28" round with full magazine. Perfect factory stamps. Lots of brilliant blue on receiver. Excellent walnut stocks with no cracks or major chips and never messed with. A superb bore with sharp rifling and shiny. Nice case colors on hammer. No caliber markings as is proper for early 45-75. According to Madis, round barrels were not popular as they thought octagon barrels were more accurate. This gun was never abused and remains in superb original factory condition with a brilliant bore and should be one heck of a shooter at that. Antique so can be sent anywhere, even California.
