Description:
Shortened to a 24 inch octagon barrel chambered in 40-60 WCF caliber with a very shiny bright near excellent bore. Sights include a gold Beaches combination front with an "1876" marked folding ladder rear and a folding tang mounted peep sight. Most all thinning barrel blue remains with sharp clear markings. Special order half magazine. Receiver has about 70% blue with some thinning along the top of the frame around the dust cover that is turning a plum/brown/gray. Good amount of case colors on the hammer and lever as well as good nitre blue on the loading gate. Straight grip walnut stocks appear to be re-oiled and are in very fine condition with only light handling mars. A crescent buttplate with a 4 piece cleaning rod in the butt. Crisp action. Includes a Factory letter stating the rifle was made in 1889 and a letter from Norm Fladerman & Co. stating that a rifle with these features had been purchased from them.
