WINCHESTER MODEL 1876 RIFLE IN CALIBER 40-60 WCF

Description:
28 inch octagon barrel chambered in 40-60 caliber with full length magazine tube. Bore has shine and visible rifling with scattered fine roughness throughout. Sights include a blade front with a replacement blade and an "1876" marked folding ladder rear. Barrel retains most all blue with a few spots. Sharp corners and good markings. Mag tube has good blue in the protected areas while fading to gray. Receiver has most original blue with some thinning. Good Fire Blue on the loading gate. Traces of case colors on the hammer and lever. Mechanical condition is excellent. Walnut stocks are in very good condition with good traces of original varnish and steel rifle style buttplate. Made in 1885.
