Description: 30 inch full octagon #3 weight barrel chambered in 32-40 caliber. Near excellent bright shiny bore with strong rifling. Barrel retains about 80% original thinning blue. Nice crisp markings on barrel address. Caliber designation flat has a couple of pits. Sights include a target globe front with a crosshair aperture insert and a blank in the rear sight dovetail with a short range Vernier tang sight. Receiver retains about 90% case-hardened colors that are mostly vibrant with the balance fading to a silvery gray. Fancy deluxe walnut checkered pistolgrip buttstock has a cheek-piece with nice tiger stripe grain figure. Swiss buttplate has toned to a very nice patina. Nice functioning action with a Set Trigger that works. This is a very handsome looking Winchester single shot rifle chambered in the target caliber of the day that was made in 1892.
